Keanu Reeves is one of the humblest celebrities. However, he is very famous for his down-to-earth acts among his fans.
He made a British couple very happy when he arrived at a wedding in Northamptonshire on Monday.
But it appears that the bride’s “crush,” Keanu Reeves, has built quite a name for himself as a celebrity wedding crasher, having done the trick not once but twice in his quirky flair.
The 57-year-old actor met customer sales rep James Roadnight, 35, and Nikki, 34, a dog trainer, on their wedding day because he was staying at their four-star hotel.
However, in August 2018, Keanu, whose filmography includes 2018’s Destination Wedding, photobombed couple Moray and Maura on the sidewalk after their New York City wedding.
Slanj Kiltz, who designed the groom’s costume, tweeted at the time: “Best #Wedding Picture EVER! Moray and Maura had just been married in New York and were #photobombed by a scruffy passerby.”
Then, in September of the same year, he surprised bride Leslie and her husband Jarrod, whose mother Darlette is a “big” admirer, at the three-star Dream Inn in Santa Cruz, California.
“Having him there was simply the frosting on the cake,” Darlette told ABC. “I can’t believe it’s Keanu Reeves standing there,” I thought.
“He was absolutely the sweetest person. We came in, he was dressed in his riding gear, drinking coffee or whatever, and we disturbed him, and he was extremely nice.”
Nikki and James’ reception on Monday was memorable because the Matrix star arrived immediately after the pair said “I do” after the groom bumped into him at the bar.
Keanu Reeves is reported to be staying at the opulent hotel while shooting a documentary on the racing league for Disney+.

“My husband noticed him in the bar area and told him he’d just been married and encouraged Keanu to come over to say hello and have a drink with us if he wanted to,” Nikki told Newsweek.
“He was charming and stated that he would later. We weren’t sure whether he would, but it was fantastic that my husband had talked to him!”
Her husband had noticed him earlier in the hotel bar and invited him to join them.
Guests were overjoyed when the celebrity accepted the couple’s offer, making their special day even more memorable.
“He was warm and pleasant and congratulated us on our wedding,” she recalled. “He was gracious enough to pose for several photos, and our wedding photographer got some! Then he took the time to speak with some of our guests and take additional photos!”
The couple, who met on a dating app and have been together for two and a half years, described Keanu Reeves’ appearance at their wedding as the “cherry on top” of their big day.
Nikki recalled their honeymoon in Crete: “I was swept away. Keanu Reeves is my favorite actor; therefore, if I could meet anyone, it would be him.
“To have that happen on my wedding day was incredible. He grasped my hand, cuddled me, and said congrats — it was weird. My bridesmaid was adjusting my dress when someone from the venue announced there was a special guest outside.
“I entered the courtyard, and there he was. Keanu Reeves attended our wedding reception. I said something like, ‘welcome to our wedding; my name is Nikki. Do you want a drink?’ He stated he’d had an arduous journey and respectfully declined before taking photographs with us all for around 10 or 15 minutes.
“Towards the end, there was a bit of a mob of fan girls swarming around, and I even asked if they wanted me to help escort them out. He said it was fine and kept making time for everyone – he was just the sweetest guy.”
According to the Independent, this isn’t the first time the actor has disrupted a wedding.
He photobombed a couple who had recently married in New York City in 2018.
