The Too Good To Go is an app that does not give you the option to choose any dish from the eatery menu. On the contrary, it directs you to pick food that is meant for discarding by the restaurant. However, the food quality has to be good. It has to be fresh and most often includes perishable items such as a sushi roll, pizza slice, soup, and pastries.
The app lets customers order leftover food at a discounted price. The interesting thing is that they never know what will be available for ordering for each day beforehand. This app proved to be bliss during the pandemic for restaurant owners. The app maker has also connected with other types of eateries including supermarkets, bakeries, pastry shops, hotels, and cafes.

This food delivery app’s popularity is ensuring rapid growth
Too Good To Go made its debut in the city of Copenhagen back in 2016. In the U.S., it was launched in Boston and New York City in the last quarter of 2020. Over time, it has spread to 15 countries. The app is available for use only in selected cities as of now. Still, the app has diverted some 200,000 meals from the trash bin.
More than 1,500 U.S. eateries have connected with the app maker in cities such as Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston, and New York. By end of 2021, it will be made available in even more U.S. cities.
