If you’re looking for a quick week-night meal to prepare, you can’t go wrong with Yaki-Soba fried noodles!
Ingredients
- 1 pack Yaki-Soba noodles
- 2-3 slices of bacon
- 3 garlic cloves
- 8 ounces organic white mushrooms (227 g)
- 2 sliced carrots
- 1/4 Cabbage head
- 1/3 cup boiled water
- 1 tbsp Yaki-Soba sauce
- White sesame seeds
Directions
1. Rinse and slice cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms. Cut bacon into smaller pieces and fry it in a big wok over medium heat until brown and crispy. Add the garlic cloves and fry for 2 minutes. Next, add the carrots and fry for another minute and then add mushrooms and fry for another 2 minutes. Add noodles to the wok.
2. Now the most important part is to slowly add the boiled water. Then put on the lid and let it steam for a minute, which will help soften the noodles.
3. Add the soba sauce and cabbage. Stir well and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle some white sesame seeds on top before serving.
Be careful not to add too much water and don’t steam it for too long. Otherwise, the noodles will fall apart. Enjoy!
