The 2025 Taoyuan Mesona Festival runs from November 22 to December 7 at the Yangmei Leisure Agricultural Area in northern Taiwan’s Taoyuan City, featuring 16 days of vibrant floral celebrations. As one of Taoyuan’s signature winter events, this year’s festival features popular Sanrio character Kuromi as its central theme, transforming the blooming mesona fields into an enchanting fairytale world. With 2 hectares (4.94 acres) of mesona blossoms and 2.1 hectares (5.18 acres) of cosmos flowers, visitors can stroll through a stunning purple dreamscape created by the mesona blooms.
Kuromi-inspired mesona installations for a whimsical floral journey
The “Purple Blossom Concert” theme blends music, flower fields, and fairytale storytelling, all centered around the mesona landscape. Visitors can explore several Kuromi-themed installations such as the “Dreamland Farm Train,” “Magic Platform,” and “Wonderland Express,” all set within the backdrop of the mesona fields. Additional photo-friendly spots, including the “Reading Garden,” “Kuromi Floral Fantasy,” and “Mesona Dreamlight Corner,” turn the entire venue into a playful and dreamy environment perfect for capturing unforgettable memories during the Mesona Festival.

Weekend performances and mesona-themed fun for all ages
The Mesona Festival also features dynamic weekend performances by the Tendrum Art Percussion Group and Mysterious Forest Band, adding rhythm and energy to the event. Families and visitors can enjoy a lively mesona market, a floral-themed inflatable playground, a mini train ride through the mesona paths, and a fun stamp-collecting challenge. These diverse activities make the festival a joyful seasonal celebration for travelers, families, and photography lovers alike.

Local collaboration showcasing Taoyuan’s mesona agriculture and tourism
