During the summer, we should eat nutritious foods that will help to build our immune system and increase our immunity in preparation for the winter season.

1. Eggs

Eggs are a complete nutritional food. They are rich in complete proteins (they contain all the essential amino acids), which have an exceptionally high conversion rate in your body. Eggs contain vitamins and minerals that your body needs. More importantly, eggs are cheap, thus allowing the average family to afford them easily.

2. Tomatoes and spinach

Tomatoes are rich in minerals, such as calcium, iron, and phosphorus, as well as cellulose, vitamins, and some proteins. They contain an antioxidant substance called lycopene, which can remove free radicals in the human body, prevent cardiovascular diseases, and reduce the risk of prostate, pancreatic, rectal, laryngeal, oral, and breast cancers.

Spinach is known as the “King of Vegetables.” It is sweet in taste and cool in nature. It can benefit the five internal organs of the body and relieve alcohol poisoning. Spinach has the added effects of promoting body fluids to quench thirst, nourishing the blood to stop bleeding, clearing heat and eliminating troubles, nourishing the liver and improving your eyesight, moistening any dryness, and smoothing the intestines.
